Employment Opportunities
Jefferson Community College, located in northern New York State near the shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, currently serves 3,600 students pursuing credit courses in Liberal Arts, Math and Science, and Business for transfer or career purposes. JCC depends on national, regional, and local talent to provide faculty and staff to support student learning both in and outside of the classroom. The College hires part-time and full-time personnel; positions are advertised when available.
Although most classes are held on campus, the College provides instruction on Fort Drum and other sites, and also employs personnel to teach online courses. The instructional calendar includes fall, winter, spring and summer sessions. There are year round positions as well for administrative staff, student support services personnel, and staff in secretarial, accounting, maintenance, finance and grounds keeping.
