JCC Student, Blair K. Kiernan, Named NJCAA Region III Athlete of the Week
Jefferson Community College sophomore forward, Blair K. Kiernan, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) women’s soccer team was named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region III athlete of the week ending October 5, 2008. Kiernan, of Copenhagen, is a 2007 graduate of Copenhagen Central School and majoring in business administration at Jefferson. Blair scored 5 goals in each of the last two weeks, for a total of 10 goals, after being moved from the defense to the attacking position. Since being moved into the forward position, Blair has averaged 2 goals a game.
