Linda Gruber Named JCC Athlete of the Week
Watertown, NY – Sophomore forward, Linda Gruber, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) women’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending February 11, 2008. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. Gruber, a 2006 graduate of General Brown Central School, is majoring in liberal arts at Jefferson. Linda’s accomplishments on the court during the past week include 15 points, 25 rebounds, and 7 blocked shots that led Jefferson to a win against Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
