Silvon E. John Named JCC Athlete of the Week
Watertown, NY – Sophomore forward, Silvon E. John, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending February 18, 2008. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. John, a 2006 graduate of James Monroe Academy, is majoring in individual studies at Jefferson. Silvon’s accomplishments for the week include 15 points vs Tompkins-Cortland Community College, 24 points, 12 rebounds vs Cayuga Community College, and 20 points, 11 rebounds vs Onondaga Community College.
