Silvon E. John Named JCC Athlete of the Week
Watertown, NY – Sophomore forward, Silvon E. John, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending January 21, 2008. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. John, a 2006 graduate of James Monroe Academy, is majoring in individual studies at Jefferson. Silvon’s accomplishments for the week include 14 points, 14 rebounds against Finger Lakes Community College, 18 points, 8 rebounds against Cayuga Community College, and 10 points, 7 rebounds against Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
