Stacey M. Petersen Named Athlete of the Week at JCC
Watertown, NY – Freshman forward, Stacey M. Petersen, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) women’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending January 14, 2008. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. Petersen, a 2007 graduate of Pulaski Academy, is majoring in liberal arts at Jefferson. Stacey’s accomplishments for the week include 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals against Clinton Community College, 8 points and 8 rebounds against Corning Community College, 6 points, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds against Broome Community College, and 6 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals against Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
