On Friday, April 25, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in room 150 of the Fort Drum Education Center, Jefferson Community College will host a financial aid session.
Representatives from Jefferson’s Financial Aid Office will be on hand to assist prospective students with filing for financial aid. Students should bring their 2007 federal tax returns and W-2s to the session as well as their spouse’s 2007 tax return and W-2s if filed separately in 2007.
Jefferson offers a variety of degree programs with classes online, on campus and on Fort Drum. Six degree programs are offered completely online. Tuition is affordable and there is financial aid programs designed especially for military-related students. Additionally, the New York state residency requirement is waived for a member, spouse or dependent of a member of the Armed Forces on full time active duty and stationed in New York resulting in additional financial aid opportunities.
