JCC Inducts 75 Students into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

Jefferson Community College recognized 75 of its best and brightest students on Friday, February 22nd. The students were inducted into Jefferson’s Tau Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the national honor society for community colleges.

Each inductee exemplifies the four hallmarks essential to receive this honor: scholarship, leadership, fellowship and service. Academic excellence is matched and often surpassed, by these inductees’ willingness to share their time and talents with the community.

To be eligible for PTK membership, students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 and must have completed at least 12 transferable credits.
