Sellers & Staab Named JCC Co-Athletes of the Week
Sophomore first baseman Ronald Sellers, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team, and freshman mid-fielder Theresa M. Staab, of the Jefferson's women's lacrosse team, were named JCC co-athletes of the week for the week ending April 14, 2008. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions.
Sellers, a 2006 graduate of Heuvelton Central School, is majoring in Liberal Arts at JCC. Ronald’s accomplishments on the field during the past week include hitting .562 with two doubles and seven RBIs. His dedication, hard work and leadership earned him the honor of co-captain of the 2007-08 baseball team.
Staab, a 2007 graduate of Carthage Central School, is majoring in Liberal Arts at Jefferson. Theresa’s accomplishments on the field for the year include thirty-nine total points and twenty-one groundballs. Her dedication, hard work and leadership have earned her the honor of co-captain of the 2007-08 women’s lacrosse team.
