Jefferson Singers Voice Recital March 18

The Jefferson Singers will perform a voice recital on Tuesday, March 18th at 7:00 p.m. in Sturtz Theater at Jefferson Community College. Jefferson Community College music professor Dr. Lisa M. Scrivani-Tidd is the director and accompanist of the vocal ensemble.

The Jefferson Singers will perform an assortment of solo and small ensemble vocal literature from varying styles of classical music, musical theater, and popular music. Admission is free to the recital, and the public is invited to attend. Featured performers include Alexa Bush, Dustin Ferguson, Zachary Fish, Lindsey Kenyon, Elissa Petrie, Maria Sacca, Ashot Shahnazaryan, Adrienne Teachout, Melissa Boyer, Jessica Brown, Meghan Cole, Hannah Damon, David Elmer, Amanda Gonzalez, Brenna Holland, Sarah Kavanagh, Taylor Lavere, Andrea Levack, Elena Winn, Michael Grunert, and Jared York.

The Jefferson Singers (MUS 121), a credit-bearing humanities music course at Jefferson, is the College’s choir. It is a mixed chorus comprised of students from all majors on campus; advanced music students pursuing a career in music perform alongside non-music majors who enjoy singing and performing. The course is open to all students on campus, and the ensemble regularly performs on and off campus in the Jefferson community.
