Free Workshop: Youth & the Internet on April 1

The Continuing Education Division at Jefferson Community College is offering a free workshop entitled Youth and the Interent on Tuesday, April 1st at 12:30 p.m. in room 6-218, Jules Center. The workshop, taught by Amanda Root of Cornell Cooperative Extension, is free and open to the public.

Attendees will learn how to keep their children safe while exploring the World Wide Web. Topics include trends in internet use among children and teens, including MySpace and YouTube, and strategies to monitor internet use for your family.
