Jefferson Community College
Watertown, NY 13601
Registration is open for summer session and fall semester classes. Summer courses are taught online, on the main campus in Watertown and at Fort Drum, during the day and evenings, and are available in flexible 4-week and 8-week formats. Last year, Jefferson added two new four-week online sessions and will offer students the same option again this summer with a few more classes added to the mix. All summer classes end on or before July 30th allowing students a break before the Fall 2009 semester begins.
Taking a class during the summer months is a great way for college students to get a prerequisite (or two) out of the way before beginning the Fall 2009 semester at JCC or at another school. Some classes require vast amounts of individual attention or lab time and summer is a great time to take it as a standalone class. Adult learners can take courses either online or on campus during the month of June and complete the courses before area schools let kids out for summer vacation!
