Still Time to Register for Fall Classes

Registration continues for Fall 2009 courses at Jefferson Community College.

Courses are offered on campus, online and on Fort Drum. Fall semester classes begin on August 31. Eight-week classes in Jefferson’s early session begin August 31 and will wrap up on October 23. Late session, eight-week classes, begin October 26 and will wrap up on December 21.

New and transfer students should contact Admissions at (315) 786-2277 to begin the application process. After taking a semester off, returning students should contact the Advising, Career and Counseling Center at (315) 786-2271. Current students who have not yet registered for Fall courses should contact their academic advisor or the Advising, Career and Counseling Center at (315) 786-2271.

There are a variety of financial aid options available and interested students can call the Financial Services office at (315) 786-2355. Additional college funding may be available through the Workforce Investment Act and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for qualified students 18 years of age or older and unemployed or earning a current hourly wage of less than $22.00 or a spouse of an active military member who left employment due to a permanent change of military station.
