Sheree Trainham

Onward

Memories are strung like
pearls on a silken cord
revealing to the heart
the fashion of the soul.

But whether grey or pink,
their lustrous hues reflect
truth which humans treasure.
Life is experience.

So may strands entwined
settle lightly upon
each new day that’s given
as a gift born of love.

And may the soul’s embrace
of a necklace so made
inform the heart that Life
is good and so - - Go on.
