SUNY Jefferson is a test site for the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams.
Step 1: Fill out the Jefferson Community College Registration Form for CLEP.
Complete the Registration Form at least one week prior to the test date.
Registration for an exam with the optional essay must be submitted two weeks prior to the test date
Registration forms can be e-mailed to email@example.com faxed to (315) 786-2349 or dropped off in person to room 6-024 of the Jules Building.
A non-refundable administrative fee of $20.00 US currency is required per test. The Administrative Fee must be paid in advance to the Office of Financial Services & Student Records. Acceptable payments are by phone with a credit card at (315)786-2355 or in person in room 6-024 of the Jules Building.
Step 2: Log In to the My Account on the Collegeboard Registration Portal
To create and manage your account, go to: http://clep.collegeboard.org/
You must register and pay a registration fee of $80.00 to CLEP before arriving at Jefferson Community College to test. The registration platform will allow you to register for a CLEP exam 24/7, manage your personal information any time prior to taking the exam, search for test centers, select your score recipient institution, and purchase study materials. Registering for an exam provides you with a payment receipt and a Ticket ID, but you must contact a test center to schedule the date and time you wish to take the test.
Step 3: Schedule an Appointment with Jefferson Community College
After you submit your registration form to JCC, it is important that you contact the Testing Coordinator, Tanya Hoistion at firstname.lastname@example.org or (315)755-0300 to verify the specific date you would like to take the CLEP exam.

Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
If you have a disability, such as a learning or physical disability, that would prevent you from taking a CLEP exam under standard conditions, you may request accommodations. Contact Jefferson Community College test center well in advance of the test date to make the necessary arrangements and to find out its deadline for submission of documentation and approval of accommodations. Accommodations that can be arranged directly with test centers include but not limited to:
- ZoomText (screen magnification)
- Modifiable screen colors
- Use of a reader
- Extended time
- Untimed rest breaks
2016 Exam Dates
