Jefferson Community College, located in northern New York State near the shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, serves students pursuing credit courses in Liberal Arts, Math and Science, and Business for transfer or career purposes.

The College hires part-time and full-time personnel; Positions are advertised when available.

Although most classes are held on campus, the College provides instruction on Fort Drum and other sites, and offers classes online.  The instructional calendar includes fall, winter, spring, and summer sessions. 

There are also year-round positions for administrative staff, student support services personnel, and staff in secretarial, accounting, maintenance, and  finance.
