SUNY Empire State

SUNY Empire State College is looking to hire two part-time (50%), limited term (10 month) Faculty members. These positions would be based either in the College's Watertown or Fort Drum Units. Faculty members at the College are referred to as Mentors, as they work with students in partnership to guide them towards their educational goals. Primary responsibilities of the Mentoring role include teaching adult students across a range of delivery modes (independent study, small group, online), advising/guiding students towards their degree goals, and working with students to evaluate prior experiential learning.

A Master’s degree is required, Ph.D. preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with academic background in the areas of Business and Community & Human Services.
