Hybrid Courses
Jefferson offers a number of convenient hybrid courses. These courses combine classroom instruction with online learning so you still connect in person with your professor and classmates, while enjoying the convenience of online learning. The online portion of a hybrid course is often more convenient for some, but may also require more time, self discipline, dedication, and time-management skills than traditional classroom learning.
A Hybrid course is an excellent choice if:
- Time is an issue and it would be more convenient for you to spend less time on campus and more time working from home.
- You prefer to maintain some face to face contact with your instructor and fellow students.
- You are interested in experiencing engaged and interactive learning activities both in the classroom and online.
Students in hybrid courses should be ready to meet the same technical requirements that a fully online course would require.
