Web-Enhanced Classes
Web-enhanced courses are traditional face to face classes that are “enhanced” by using online activities. Unlike hybrid courses, seat time is not replaced by these online activities. Web enhanced courses meet in a classroom with an instructor at a regularly scheduled day, time and location. Components of your course will be accessible to you 24/7 online. You may also complete homework assignments, take quizzes, participate in group work, and interact with your instructor and fellow students online.
Online activities vary depending on the instructor and course requirements. Your instructor will clarify expectations on the first day of class. Web-enhanced courses are not denoted on JCC’s Master Schedule because instructors have flexibility in using online resources and Blackboard, just like they do with any other technology.
