We are an active group of students interested in the office, medical, administrative and business fields. We offer weekly meetings, fundraising opportunities and many different community service projects. We have many guest speakers that come and speak about civil service exams, administrative and business higher education opportunities, chamber of commerce and a day in the life of an administrative professional. Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education. Membership in the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society will open new doors for your academic journey! The organization offers a myriad of opportunities for scholarships, intellectual enrichment and personal development through programs based on the four hallmarks of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship. Membership Invitation: Complete at least 12 hours of associate degree course work with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Part-time and full-time students are eligible. Join us today!

Student Nursing Association

Students learn how to be professionally and socially active in the community. Members participate in a variety of community service and fundraising activities. The club’s mission is to promote/expand visibility and growth of the nursing profession, as well as to promote high personal standards among nursing students. Leadership and fellowship are also encouraged while cultivating, promoting, and sustaining the art and science of nursing. If you are a nursing student and are looking for support in the program we are the club for you! We are organized to enhance the understanding and awareness of all the different areas of nursing studies while increasing wellness concepts in the community. We network with other nursing students state and nationwide and work with non-profit health care agencies in the community. joining our club!

Veterans Club

We provide a smooth transition for our returning military personnel from their current duty.  We also help out our veterans with key elements they need in setting them up for success and we incorporate unity, respect, and togetherness between Jefferson and its students and those who have volunteered their service. You’ve served your country proudly, now you can help serve your college and community by joining our club! We are a group of military students promoting awareness and comradeship through shared military experience while encouraging awareness of veteran status with other students and faculty.

W.A.V.E. Club

The Wave Club is a social interest group who’s primary objectives include meeting other students who share similar interests in various types of gaming, and to encourage an atmosphere of friendly, competitive gaming. We are a group made for gamers, and those wanting to expand their knowledge of gaming in general, whether it be card games, board games, video games. Are you a gamer? Join us today, The club holds weekly meetings, at least one tournament each term, and provides the opportunity for trips to local events.

ZEW Club (Zoo, Exotic, Wildlife Club)

We provide students with an interest in the exotic animal industry an opportunity to explore the career options pertaining to zoo, wildlife, and exotic animals. The continued existence of zoological parks, refuges, and aquariums depends upon the education of the public as well as respect and appreciation for animals. Our goal is spread our love and fascination for the amazing species of our world from all walks of life from the tadpole to the whale.

What are the requirements? -- If you love animals, you're in! Come join us and help make our world better for all things living in it. Are you wild about animals? So are we! Join the ZEW club today. We are an organization dedicated to zoo, exotic or wild animals. Our goal is to help dispel myths about wild animals while promoting conservation efforts. Our events include field trips to related animal facilities, fundraisers for our zoo, including a bowl-a-thon, as well as many other related community organizations.
