Kids Camps

Jefferson Express is not just for adult learners! We have programming that is fun and educational for kids and their families to attend.  Jefferson Express has kids’ workshops and day camps on Art, Science, Chemistry, Dance, Music, Character Acting and Journalism.  Kids have fun and parents like them because our day camps are affordable and some are cross-curricular, supporting core curriculum standards in Science, Mathematics, Language Arts, History and Technology (STEM compliant). Much of our kids' workshop and camp programming revolves around summer day camps, offered during the months of July and August.  Kids day camps and workshops are currently held on our Jefferson Community College campus in Watertown, New York.

On Campus Workshops
Broadway Dance! (Ages 11+ Preteens and Teens)November 22, 2014 - November 22, 2014

You'll be ready for center stage after warming up to your favorite musical numbers. You're the star of your favorite musical during this week long dance camp! We will learn dances straight from the stages of Wicked, Hairspray! and A Chorus Line and Disney’s Frozen.

Kids! Learn to CrochetNovember 08, 2014

Crocheting is a skill that creates beautiful handcrafted items. Blankets, scarfs, and mittens, are legacy pieces to hand down to future generations. It isn’t as difficult as it looks. Beginners will have fun at this learn how to crochet workshop. Materials needed: $10 Boye Beginners Crochet Kit plus yarn.
