Business and Industry Training Programs
Jefferson ’s Business & Industry Training program can provide instructors, facilities, scheduling, attendance verification, certificates, videoconferencing and web conferencing to meet your training needs.
Contract Training: Custom designed for the employer and scheduled at the convenience of the employer and its employees. We offer cost savings over standard workshops offered to the general public. Contract training may be scheduled at your company location or at Jefferson’s campus in Watertown.
Cooperative Training: Specially designed coursework that meets the needs of more than one employer and is scheduled at the convenience of those involved. Grant assistance is often available to groups of employers who pool their training needs and resources.
Training Facilities: JCC facilities can be made available to local employers for specialized employee training activities. Catering and technology services are also available.
Workshops and Seminars: Regularly scheduled non-credit programs on a variety of topics including computers, computer software, communication skills, notary public certification and many others. If your professional development topic is not currently offered, please contact us.
Web-Conferencing: Downlinking of satellite programs, allowing major professional development programs to be brought to the North Country.
Videoconferencing: Two-way audio and video allows complete interaction between 2 sites for ongoing training and education. Perfect for interviews, business meetings, classroom size instruction and more.
