Adult and Youth Workshops
The Continuing Education Division offers several certificate and precertification workshops, both on campus and through online partners. Workshops are added on a regular basis, so check our workshop listings often. If you are looking for a workshop on a particular date, visit Jefferson’s online events calendar.
If you are a military spouse, the “My Career Advancement Account” (MyCAA) can help you pay for workshops and online courses. Contact Don Johnson, Director of Military Programs at Fort Drum, at 315-773-4535 for more information.
We have packaged a few of our professional growth and technology workshops into our Entrepreneurship / Small Business certificate and our Work NOW certificate. Both certificates are made possible through partnerships with the SBDC and The WorkPlace. Look for the E/SB or Work NOW designation in the workshop descriptions. All workshop participants have access to the Entrepreneurship Center, Jefferson’s small business concept incubator.
Jefferson also offers weeklong camps for kids during the summer months.
You can find a complete list of all Continuing Education workshops scheduled on campus in the SOAR Course Schedule. In SOAR, choose Course Section Search, choose the term (Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer), and click Submit, then choose Continuing Education (CED) as the subject and the desired days and times.
