Adult and Youth Workshops
The Continuing Education Division offers a variety of non-credit learning opportunities for adults and youth. Workshops are broken down into areas of professional growth, personal enrichment and technology series. Learning takes place on campus utilizing our training facilities located in the Extended Learning Center (ELC). Learning can also take place in the comfort of your home. We offer a variety of non-credit certifications through our online Educational Partners.
If you are looking for a workshop on a particular date, visit Jefferson’s online events calendar.
Nurture your inner-leader! New to workshop registrants is the opportunity for you to complete a non-credit leadership certification through the Continuing Education Division. All professional growth and technology workshops apply to this certificate. When you reach a total of twelve (12) hours of training we will issue you a non-credit leadership certificate.
For entrepreneurs, we have collaborated with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to create the Entrepreneurship / Small Business certificate. Participants in this workshop series will brush up on practical business topics that prepare them for small business and entrepreneurial success. Look for the E/SB designation in the workshop descriptions.
We also offer weeklong camps for kids during the summer months.
Jefferson Express, a mobile computer lab, delivers professional training to rural communities.
