eArmyU at Jefferson Community College
Graduation/Commencement
Jefferson Community College welcomes and encourages eArmyU students to participate in its annual commencement ceremonies. Commencement is held annually in May. Whether you completed your degree requirements the previous December or will complete them in May or the following August, you are eligible to participate in the May ceremony. Commencement ceremonies are scheduled as follows:
Here's how:
Once you are within 9 credit hours of completing your degree, Jefferson Community College will ask you to fill out the Application for Degree form and return it by a specified date.
Upon receipt of the Completed "Application for Degree" form, the College will perform a degree audit and notify you of your eligibility to participate in commencement ceremonies. At this time, you will also be provided with a graduation checklist explaining the details related to ordering graduation announcements, cap and gown, tickets, etc.
Once degree requirements are completed and verified and you become a graduate, Jefferson Community College will mail your diploma and a copy of your transcript directly to you. If you participate in the commencement, you will receive a diploma cover during the ceremony and your actual diploma and transcript will be mailed to you following commencement.
Directions to the campus are available on our Location page.
