Jefferson Community College is committed to providing soldier-students with sound academic advisement. Thus, it is essential for us to review a student's academic history as well as appropriate academic skills assessment information. In some cases, a student's academic record/history provides sufficient information for us to give good academic advice about course selection and degree progression. Students with a successful record of prior college-level work or who have SAT/ACT scores or who have already completed skills assessment testing with another college are such examples. However, in other cases, it's important that a student complete our academic skills assessment testing in order for us to provide adequate advisement. During your first semester of coursework, a JCC eArmyU advisor will review your academic history--including any transcripts of prior college work, ACT/SAT scores, and the like--and will develop a SOCAD student agreement. NOTE: If you are registering for your first semester as a JCC eArmyU student and have not yet reviewed your academic history with our advisor,
