Hours of Operation
The bookstore is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Hours vary during summer months and college breaks. Extended hours are offered during the first few weeks of each semester and to accommodate special sessions that may be offered by the college.
The bookstore accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. We also accept Cannon Cash, cash, and personal checks with a valid ID.
There is a $25.00 charge for returned checks.
Financial Aid Accounts
Financial aid can be used to purchase textbooks, supplies, JCC merchandise, childcare fees and other items in the bookstore. In addition, financial aid accounts can be used to add Cannon Cash to your SUNYCard or to purchase meal plans. Please visit the bookstore for more information.
Once established, your financial aid account will remain active for the established financial aid period in the bookstore. This runs from approximately 2 weeks before and after the first day of classes. Please check in the bookstore for dates on financial aid availability.
Establishing a financial aid account in the bookstore DOES NOT automatically add funds to your card to be used at other locations on campus. If you wish to establish such an account, you must purchase a meal plan or Cannon Cash. This can be done in the bookstore using your financial aid account.
All JCC students, faculty, and staff can go to the Bookstore to pick up their SUNYCard, which acts as a JCC photo identification card and provides access to the library, computer lab, fitness center, East Hall, and students' financial aid and student loan accounts. The card can also be used for meal plans and Cannon Cash, a convenient debit account accepted at locations across JCC.
Your initial SUNYCard is free; replacements are available for a fee.
To help minimize textbook costs, FSA offers a selection of used textbooks. Through our internal buyback program as well as working with faculty and sources in the industry, we make every effort to make as many used textbooks available as possible.
Students now have the option to RENT their textbooks, giving them the chance to save up to 60% off the retail price! Click here for a list of rental textbooks that are available for the Summer 2014 Early Session.
Please keep in mind that prices are subject to change. Rentals require a valid credit card and a personal email account. See a Bookstore associate for more information!
We apologize for the inconvenience, but FSA cannot guarantee the timely delivery of textbooks shipped internationally due to various Customs restrictions. Please speak to your advisor if you are taking online courses from outside the U.S.!
