Student Financial Aid
Student Financial Aid helps students and their families by educating
students about available financial aid resources and assisting students
during the application process. It is our mission to help students find
the resources to meet their educational expenses.
Most financial aid programs are based on the student's financial need and are intended to supplement the family's contribution towards the student's educational costs.
Financial aid comes in several forms: grants, scholarships, college employment and loans. It is available through various sources, primarily the federal and state governments, the Jefferson Community College Foundation, civic organizations and local foundations.
Applying for financial aid can be confusing, especially for new students. To begin the application process, please contact our office for an application packet, by calling (315)786-2355 (toll free at 1-888-435-6522). The Financial Aid Office is located in the Jules Center, Suite 6-005.
