Open House & Career Expo

Open House/Career Expo is a day for prospective students and current Jefferson students to get motivated by inspirational speakers, learn how the programs at Jefferson lead to careers, meet with faculty at Jefferson from all programs of study as well as local employers in the industry to give career guidance and learn about opportunities in the local area.
At the event prospective students will get the chance to ask questions from topics like admissions, financial aid, and academic programs to athletics, student clubs, and support services. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to tour a suite and the facilities in our modern residence hall.
The program will feature a keynote speaker in the morning, career specific breakout sessions and entertainment in the afternoon.

Tom Varano
Tom Varano is a speed painter and speaker known for his live art demonstrations, which combine a visual spectacle with a timely message. Using his fingertips, palms, and multiple brushes, Varano performs on a four-by-five-foot canvas, completing stunning portraits of famous figures in a matter of minutes. This high energy performance, called "Emotion Into Art™," takes audiences on a journey of excitement, suspense, cheer, motivation, and surprise.
