• Occupational Outlook Handbook (Evaluated Internet Site) Career information from the U.S. Department of Labor. Describes job responsibilities, working conditions, training and education required, earnings, and anticipated job prospects for a wide range of occupations.
• Career Zone (Evaluated Internet Site) Information on careers, including educational and/or training requirements, job outlook and salary data. Published by the New York State Dept. of Labor.

• Newsbank Special Reports Articles, links, maps and graphics focused on topics of current interest. Includes content from sources throughout the world to provide a global perspective, current and background information, and statistics.
• Opposing Viewpoints Provides essays offering in-depth analysis of all sides of many current social issues. Great for topic selection and focusing.
