JCC Campus Activities Board Makes Impact at Northeast Regional Programming Conference
At the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA) 2012 Northeast Regional Programming Conference held in October, students of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Campus Activities Board (CAB) gave a presentation about their experience planning mid-day performances on campus. Although, Jefferson students attend the conference biannually, this was the first time they presented an educational session.
JCC students won 1st place two years in a row in the printed advertising category of the APCA graphic design competition for a promotional poster entry and won 3rd place this year in the graphic t–shirt category for their promotional t-shirt entry.
CAB is comprised of six students who plan campus life activities featuring a variety of events of both an educational and entertainment nature. Most activities are held during the day during the week.
