North Country Writers Festival Winning Entries Published Online

On October 24, the Jefferson Community College (JCC) English Department recognized winners and honorable mentions of the 2012 North Country Writers Contest at a public reception and Coffee House Reading. Winning and honorable mention submissions, and a previously published piece in memory of Dr. Phyllis L. Kiernan (former English professor at JCC), are published online at The Writers Contest Reading and reception was part of an annual weeklong Writers Festival at JCC.

The North Country Writers Contest is sponsored by the Jefferson Community College English Department, Faculty Student Association, Social Cultural Committee and Student Activities.
