JCC Foundation Names Jefferson Gala Honorary Co-Chairs

The Jefferson Community College Foundation has announced David J. and Karen M. Clark, of Watertown, will serve as honorary co-chairs of this year’s Jefferson Gala.  The Jefferson Gala, an elegant evening event, will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Jefferson Community College (JCC). David, a member of the JCC Board of Trustees, is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and former Fort Drum Garrison Commander who currently serves as the site manager of the Army Battle Command Training Center on Fort Drum.  Karen is the director of the USO (United Service Organizations) chapter at Fort Drum. This year’s Jefferson’s Gala is based on the thought provoking idea “No Limits” - what would you do if there were no limits to your decision making?

Jefferson Gala proceeds benefit the JCC Foundation which awards 290 scholarships totally nearly $300,000 to Jefferson students each year. Tickets to the Jefferson Gala will be available for sale in late August. Businesses who would like to sponsor the Jefferson Gala may call the JCC Foundation at 315-786-2458.
