JCC Information Sessions Aug. 7 and Aug. 14

Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold an information session on Wednesday, August 7 and Wednesday, August 14 at 4:00 p.m. in Room 6-218, Jules Center (Building 6) for anyone thinking about taking fall classes that begin August 26. Information sessions generally last one hour with a preceding optional campus tour led by student ambassadors from the Welcome Center (Building 6) at 3:30 p.m.

Attendees will learn about JCC’s admission process and how to get started, financial aid options and how to apply, how to register for classes and available student support services.

Adult learners, welcome to attend either information session, are encouraged to attend on August 7. Whether you are just thinking about beginning your degree or have credits to transfer to complete a degree, we have the understanding and services to help you succeed. At JCC, 36% of the student body is comprised of adult learners, students over the age of 25!

JCC offers more than 30 academic programs. Degree programs offered entirely online are Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Individual Studies and Liberal Arts and Sciences – Humanities and Social Sciences. JCC’s academic programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood, Individual Studies, Liberal Arts and Sciences – Humanities and Social Sciences, Paramedic and Human Services can be earned during evenings with most classes held at 5:00 p.m. or later on campus. For nursing majors, students may choose a traditional weekday program or a weekend format.
