JCC Foundation

Access.  It’s one of JCC’s core values, and the Jefferson Community College Foundation makes higher education accessible to students who face financial barriers.  The Foundation administers over 250 scholarships, (link to Foundation/Scholarship/scholarship.html page info) totaling more than $250,000 in aid for students each year.

The JCC Foundation also raises funds to enhance the College’s ability to offer innovative educational experiences for its students.

The Foundation’s signature event is the Jefferson Gala which raises money to support the Foundation and its scholarship programs. In addition to attending Foundation events, there are many additional ways to support the Foundation, including making a donation or creating a scholarship.

The Foundation Board of Directors is the steward of the Foundation’s endowments, and helps to raise additional money each year.  If you would like to be part of this exciting work, please contact the JCC Foundation office.

The Jefferson Community College Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit educational organization whose purpose is to raise, manage and distribute funds to assist students and to enrich and enhance the educational opportunities provided by Jefferson Community College.  The Foundation was created in 1979 through the merger of two organizations started when the College was founded in the early 1960’s.
