Course Placement
Credit Courses
Usually students who have completed secondary school prerequisites for language, mathematics or other courses are not allowed to enroll in a course in the same subject requiring fewer prerequisites. When exceptions are made to this policy to allow the student to enroll for credit in such a course, the student must realize that the credit received may not be accepted as transferable by other colleges.
Placement in Non-Credit Courses
A student placed in non-credit course work may register for no more than twenty-four (24) hours of credit course work in his or her degree program prior to the satisfatory completion of non-credit course work into which he or she has been placed without the permission of the V.P. for Academic Affairs.
A student placed in non-credit course work may register for no more than twelve (12) hours of credit course work in a certificate program prior to the satisfactory completion of non-credit course work into which he or she has been placed without the permission of the V.P. for Academic Affairs.
