Secret Collector Frank Warren to Give Presentation at JCC

On Wednesday, October 23 Jefferson Community College (JCC) will host a presentation by Frank Warren, founder of the internet sensation PostSecret, at 7:00 p.m. in Sturtz Theater. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Named most influential person on the internet by Forbes magazine (2009), Warren’s idea for a community art project, PostSecret, generated a reaction in more than half a million people. PostSecret has been featured on Fox News, CNN, CBC, USA Today and The Today Show.  

Launched in 2004, PostSecret creates an opportunity for individuals to share their most soulful secrets with another human being without revealing their identity. More than 600 million people have visited the PostSecret website at www.postsecret.com. In addition to internet exposure, secrets have been shared on display at the Visionary Art Museum in Maryland and with readers. Using PostSecret as the foundation for his stories, Warren authored the books PostSecret, My Secret, The Secret Lives of Men and Women, A Lifetime of Secrets, PostSecret: Extraordinary Confessions from Ordinary Lives and PostSecret: Confessions on Life, Death, and God.
