Clambake August 21 to Benefit the JCC Foundation

Published on July 8, 2015 - Jefferson Community College (JCC) Foundation invites community members to help make its upcoming fundraiser, clambake and cocktails, a huge splash! The event will be held on Friday, August 21 at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton. Cocktails start at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and an auction at 6:30 p.m.

Guests will enjoy a buffet dinner prepared by Scotty’s BBQ House and Catering Company featuring: unlimited steamed clams, clam chowder, sausage, hamburgers, hot dogs, coneys, salt potatoes, corn on the cob, assorted salads, watermelon and desserts. Complimentary beverages including wine and beer will be provided by Bella’s Bistro.  The velvet voice of Sam Hopkins and musical talents of pianist Jim Burr is sure to create a delightful evening for socializing and dining.   

Tickets cost $100 per person, all inclusive. Reserved table seating is available upon request. Advanced reservations are recommended by Friday, August 7. Tickets will be available at the door. All proceeds from the clambake and cocktails fundraiser will benefit scholarships for Jefferson Community College students. The JCC Foundation awarded 270 scholarships to JCC students for the 2014-2015 academic year.
