Art Show on Display in The Gallery thru Nov. 22

The Gallery at Jefferson Community College (JCC) will feature works created by JCC faculty, adjuncts and instructors of JCC’s EDGE (Education Demonstrating Growth and Excellence) concurrent enrollment program through November 22, 2015. EDGE instructors teach JCC credit bearing courses at area high schools during the regular school day. The art show consists of a collection of pieces ranging from paintings and photographs to ceramics, pencil drawings and more.

The art show includes work of Lucinda D. Barbour of Adams Center, associate professor of art at JCC; Ronald J. McGregor of Dexter, JCC adjunct instructor; Virginia Hovendon of Copenhagen, JCC adjunct instructor and EDGE instructor at Copenhagen Central School; Tom Murray of Brownville, JCC adjunct instructor; Ann Donovan of Redwood, EDGE instructor at Alexandria Central School; Kate L. Newtown of Dexter, EDGE instructor at Carthage High School; Lindsay R. Turnbull of Antwerp, JCC adjunct instructor and EDGE instructor at Indian River High School; and Jade K. Atkinson of Harrisville, EDGE instructor at Harrisville Central School.

The public is welcome to visit Jefferson’s campus to view the art show in The Gallery from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. when classes are in session. The Gallery is located next to Room 6-118, Jules Center (Building 6).  

The Gallery at Jefferson is sponsored by the Jefferson Community College Social Cultural Committee.
