JCC to Host Album Release Concert feat. Local Musician, Patrick Sampson, March 19

Jefferson Community College (JCC) will host an album release concert for local musician, Patrick Sampson, on Saturday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. in Sturtz Theater. Accompanying Patrick will be Michael Lashomb,the lead guitarist of the local favorite band, Annie in the Water.

Sixteen year-old Patrick Sampson, of Watertown, picked up his guitar for the first time in the spring of 2014 and hasn’t put it down since. Patrick, a mostly self-taught musician, spent the last year writing, recording, and performing his music all over the North Country. His music pulls influence from artists like Ed Sheerhan, Bon Iver, Foy Vance, and Mumford and Sons.

In the summer of 2015 Patrick recorded his first album, The Wanderer, in Nashville, TN, at Southern Ground Nashville recording studio, owned by Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band. This twelve track album of original songs was released in January of 2016 and Patrick is currently touring all over the country promoting his album.Tickets cost $10 for the public and JCC students will receive one ticket free with SUNY ID.
