JCC Nursing Degree Information Session April 6

Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold a nursing degree program information session for prospective students Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 4:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. in Room 6-118, Jules Center (Building 6).

Information session topics include an overview of JCC’s daytime nursing program and weekend option, pre-requisite coursework and admission requirements, the college application process and available financial aid. The weekday nursing program is typically of interest to full-time students while the weekend option is for students seeking part-time study. Both programs are two years in length.

Graduates of Jefferson’s nursing program receive an associate in applied science degree (A.A.S.) in nursing and are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to become a Registered Nurse (RN).

JCC’s nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN).
