Getting Help & Contact Information
Jefferson Community College is committed to helping you succeed in your studies. All you need to do is ask!
There might be times during the semester when you need a little assistance. Whether you're struggling in a class or you can't get a function to work in Blackboard, you need to know where to turn for help.
- Questions about the course content should be directed to your instructor and/or other students in the class. But there are many other services that JCC offers its students that you should be aware of.
Some of these services require students to come to campus, but others don't. For example, from off-campus, you can access many student support services via email or telephone, you can access the library and many of their services on the web and you can access the Student Helpdesk at studenthelpdesk@sunyjefferson.edu or by phone 315-786-6511.
For questions about things like logging in, trying to access a course or complete a task in your course, please contact:
- SLN Helpdesk: 800-875-6269
- JCC’s Student Helpdesk: 315-786-6511 (outside the 315 area code call toll-free 888-435-6522: Ask for Instructional Technology) or email studenthelpdesk@sunyjefferson.edu
- Distance Learning Office: 315-786-2440 (outside the 315 area code call toll-free 888-435-6522 Ask for DL office)
