Community Service Scholarship Deadline is September 15

The Jefferson Community College Women’s Organization (JCCWO) is now accepting applications for Community Service Scholarships. The deadline to apply is September 15, 2017. New students and continuing JCC students may apply. Up to ten $500 scholarships are available for fall distribution.

To be eligible for the Community Service Scholarships, students must be enrolled full-time at JCC for the Fall 2017 semester, volunteer in the community and demonstrate leadership skills and self-development. Scholarship consideration will include academic standing and financial need.

To be eligible for a new student community service scholarship, applicants must be in their college freshman year and have earned a high school average of 80 (3.0) or better. 

To be eligible for a continuing JCC student community service scholarship, applicants must have completed no more than 48 credit hours of undergraduate coursework and have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
