JCC Accepting Scholarship Applications Online

Now is the time to apply for 2018-2019 Foundation scholarships at Jefferson Community College (JCC)! Anyone who plans to attend JCC beginning fall semester, August 2018, or spring semester, January 2019, should apply including current students, military, and part-time students. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2018.

Applicants must submit only one scholarship application for consideration of multiple awards. The application is available online, and online only. The College offers assistance to students completing the scholarship application, and other financial aid forms, every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. and again at 2:00 p.m. through December 21 (with the exception of no lab on November 23). Financial aid labs are held in Enrollment Services, Room 6-010, Jules Center. Students may register online to attend a financial aid lab or register by calling (315) 786-2437.

The JCC Foundation administers more than 270 scholarships totaling approximately $330,000 to JCC students annually. Awards range from $100 up to the full cost of tuition. Through JCC’s online scholarship matching service, AcademicWorks, students complete one application, answer supplemental questions, and become electronically matched to as many eligible scholarships as possible.

Prospective students must first complete the free College application online before applying for scholarships.
