Monday, August 20, 2018 - Jefferson Community College offices will open to the public at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018, so that faculty & staff may attend Fall Semester Convocation.

Accepting Foundation Scholarship Applications thru March 1

Anyone who plans to attend Jefferson Community College during Fall 2018 (August) or Spring 2019 (January) semester should apply now for scholarships awarded by the JCC Foundation. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2018.

JCC bound students complete one scholarship application to be considered for multiple awards! The scholarship application is available only online. 

Assistance is available to those who need help applying for scholarships or other financial aid forms such as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)! JCC will hold financial aid labs on campus in Enrollment Services (Jules Center) beginning February 7 and on Fort Drum at the McEwen Library and Education Complex beginning February 20. Financial aid labs are ongoing throughout spring semester. A complete list of dates and times for financial aid labs is here.

The JCC Foundation administers more than 270 scholarships totaling approximately $330,000 to JCC students annually. Awards range from $100 up to the full cost of tuition. Through JCC’s online scholarship matching service, AcademicWorks, students complete one application, answer supplemental questions, and become electronically matched to as many eligible scholarships as possible.

Prospective students must first complete the free College application online and be admitted students before applying for scholarships.
