Earn a B.S. in Nursing Locally—Learn More Apr. 8

The State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNY IT) will hold an open house at Jefferson Community College (JCC) on Friday, April 8 for individuals interested in earning a bachelor of science (B.S.) in nursing degree through the JCC Higher Education Center initiative. The open house will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Room 6-002 of the Jules Center, Building 6.

Representatives from SUNY IT will be available to answer specific questions pertaining to the nursing degree program, the admissions process, and financial aid. An associate’s degree in nursing is required to apply for this program. The program is designed to accommodate busy schedules and many courses are offered on evenings and weekends. Tuition assistance is available.

JCC offers an associate in applied science (A.A.S.) degree in nursing with courses held during the traditional weekday and on nights and weekends through the Weekend Nursing Scholar Program. Students of JCC’s nursing program can earn their degree in 2 years.
