Register for SBDC Entrepreneurial Course by Apr. 4

The NYS Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold an Entrepreneurial Training Course for new and existing small business owners April 7 through May 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on campus.

The purpose of the Entrepreneurial Training Course is to support and guide the entrepreneur through all aspects of starting and running a small business. Topics include how to check your credit and address any related problems; how to prepare a business plan; types of loans you can apply for; and types of insurance small business owners should have. During the course, attendees will receive one-on-one discussion with a SBDC advisor to discuss their specific business project. Contract agreements, marketing, micro-enterprise programs, and bookkeeping will also be covered. Upon completion, attendees will be eligible to apply for low-interest, micro-enterprise loans. The course will be accessible to individuals with disabilities.
