JCC Scholarship and Financial Aid Fair Feb. 8

The financial services office at Jefferson Community College (JCC) is sponsoring the 10th annual College Scholarship and Financial Aid Fair on Tuesday, February 8, from noon to 2:00 p.m. in the Jules Center Commons, Building 6.

During the scholarship and financial aid fair, current and prospective JCC students can learn about higher education funding opportunities, particularly scholarships, but also loans and grants. Scholarships for non-traditional students and active duty soldiers will be available at the fair. Scholarships will be awarded Fall 2011 semester.

Established on November 7, 1961, Jefferson Community College was the area’s first institution of higher education. Supervised by the State University of New York (SUNY), Jefferson offers 30+ associate degrees and certificates for career preparation or transfer; local access to bachelor’s and advanced degrees through partner institutions; lifelong learning through workshops and seminars; business and industry training; and cultural enrichment opportunities for the entire Watertown/Fort Drum region.
