JCC Seeking Nominations for 2011 Distinguished Alumni Awards

Jefferson Community College (JCC) Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the 2011 Distinguished Alumni Awards. Jefferson will honor alumni who have demonstrated exemplary commitment and service to their profession, their community, academia, or Jefferson Community College. Nominations will be considered for alumni award categories including Rising Star, Jefferson Professional Achievement, Distinguished Service, and Jeffersonian.

Nominations, accepted from all sources, must include a letter of nomination or nomination form (PDF). Nominees may work and reside throughout the world; awards are not limited to those living in New York.

A candidate must demonstrate a personal, professional, academic, or community achievement of an exceptional nature and must have earned a degree or certificate from Jefferson Community College.

Honorees will be selected by the alumni awards subcommittee of the Alumni Association board of directors. Distinguished Alumni Awards will be presented to honorees at a ceremony and reception at Jefferson Community College in April 2011.
