3OH!3 Concert at JCC Mar. 19

3OH!3, named after the Boulder, Colorado area code where the band originated, features a blend of rock, hip-hop, dance, and electronic pop. They released a self-titled album in 2007, followed by Want in 2008 and Streets of Gold in 2010. Best known for their single “Don’t Trust Me,” which sold over 2.6 million tracks, 3OH!3 was nominated for best new artist alongside Lady Gaga, Kid Cudi, and Drake at the 2009 Video Music Awards. 3OH!3 recorded “Starstrukk” with artist Katy Perry and opened for Perry on tour in 2009. They are also known for their hit “My First Kiss” recorded with artist Ke$ha (Kesha Rose Sebert).

Recently nominated for MTV’s Best New Artist award, the band has made the Billboard top artists of the year chart for the past two years and the top 200 albums of the year chart in 2009. The duo has appeared on ABC shows Jimmy Kimmel Live and George Lopez, NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly, American Idol, and MTV’s The Real World: Cancun.

Concert tickets will go on sale for JCC students on Wednesday, January 26 at 12:00 p.m. The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning Friday, February 4. All seating is general admission and tickets cost $40. JCC students presenting SUNY ID may buy one ticket at a reduced price of $20. Tickets can be purchased by calling the JCC Student Activities Center at 315-786-2431 or in person in Room 4-100 of the McVean Center.
