Jefferson Singers Spring Concert May 6 at 7 PM

The Jefferson Community College choir, the Jefferson Singers, will present their spring concert, themed “American Popular Song,” on Thursday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert R. and Jean S. Sturtz Theater at JCC. The choir is directed and accompanied by associate professor Dr. Lisa M. Scrivani-Tidd and piano accompanist Jason D. Comet, of Watertown.

Jefferson’s best student vocalists will take the audience back to the 1960s to relive the classics. Their performance includes an assortment of selections from 1960s rock, Jersey BoysThe Lion King, ABBA, and more.

The Jefferson Singers is a credit-bearing humanities music course at JCC. It is a mixed chorus comprised of students from all majors on campus—advanced music students pursuing a career in music perform alongside non-music majors who enjoy singing and performing. The course is open to all students on campus and the ensemble regularly performs on and off campus in the Jefferson community.

Join us for a concert filled with local talent! Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. For more information, call the liberal arts division at JCC at 315-786-2414 or 315-786-2328.
